"The Pet Sitter Mysteries" is a crime-mystery-series. It's based on the "Dixie Hemingway Mysteries" by Blaize Clement and his son John Clement.

The psychic suspense story revolves around people who possess the ability to infiltrate people's minds and manipulate memories. Their powers have been used in the underworld for covering up incidents, assassinations, and other deeds. These powers can not only destroy other people's spirits, but also corrupt the users' own hearts at the same time. The users had to protect their fragile and insecure hearts, as if chained to each other. They are called "pets" out of fear and despising.

Petty thief Willie Frith steals a suitcase full of bank notes, only to find out that they have been given all the same serial number. But this is only the start of his troubles, now he has to find a way of changing the notes, so he can impress the barmaid of his local pub.

A quick witted young man from the streets of South Central must rush a lily-white USC fraternity to recover a stash of stolen money.
